Three exciting and challenging positions now available in HAIL

HAIL is an Approved Housing Body with a strong reputation for providing both quality housing and floating support services to people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties in their own homes across Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Offaly and Louth.

HAIL’s vision is to be the provider of choice for housing and support for people with mental health difficulties, enabling them to achieve and sustain independent living in the community by having secure, quality, affordable accommodation with appropriate support services tailored to their needs.

The Roles

HAIL Support Service Projects –  x 2 posts

Slán Abhaile and our In House Tenant Support Service have two exciting full time (2-year contract) Dublin office vacancies.  

Both posts are suitable for those with experience of 5yrs + in Housing/Resettlement & Mental Health Recovery.

Salary Scale dependent on experience and skills is very competitive at €36,612 - €45,724.42   (10 Point incremental scale).

  • Role Reference S001: Working within our  Slán Abhaile Team you will support clients in both sourcing and resettling into new homes within  local communities, many moving from HSE hostels/hospitals and experiencing independent living for the first time. 
  • Role reference S002: As part of our larger long-standing In House Tenant Support Team you will work alongside HAIL tenants as they are referred to us via the 4 Dublin Local Authorities and Mental Health Services for permanent housing and floating support visits. You will also work with existing tenants who may be seeking support to manage a crisis or relapse in their Mental Health in order to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness..

Both Posts offer excellent opportunities for training/personal development & growth for suitable candidates.

Use of a car and a full clean Irish driving licence is essential.

Housing Officer  Dublin Northside - Role Reference H002

An interesting and challenging vacancy has arisen for the role of Housing Officer for Dublin Northside.

At least two years recent experience as a Housing Officer in a Housing Body or Local Authority, or in a Property Management role is essential. A qualification at the equivalent level of the Higher Certificate in Property and Facilities Management or the CIH Certificate in Housing is desirable.

As a Housing Officer in HAIL your role will involve the allocation of tenancies from local authority housing lists, management of rent collection, re-letting void properties, and the management of all matters relating to the tenancy and the property.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and also must be a very strong team worker, as establishing close working relationships with other HAIL staff and with Local Authorities is an integral element of the role.

Use of a car and a full clean Irish driving licence is essential.

This is a full-time permanent role with a very competitive salary in the range of €40,316.19 to €50,349.40 depending on experience.
