HAIL tenants and staff had a fantastic day celebrating European Neighbours' Day on 24th May 2019.

HAIL hosted a bbq for tenants and staff in Clondalkin where we also had music and poetry from tenants and friends of HAIL including our very own peer volunteer Patrick.

Staff and tenants also used the event to mark Green Ribbon month and get people talking about mental health.

We also celebrated in Belmayne with Clúid Housing who hosted a bbq, bouncy castles and face-painting to mark the day.

European Neighbours' Day is celebrated each year by millions of people around the world and HAIL greatly supports the event’s promotion of “better living together”.

Part of HAIL’s vision and mission is to support people to integrate into their communities and to engage with their peers in order to assist them in their ongoing recovery. Events such as European Neighbours' Day provide an ideal opportunity to inspire our tenants to get involved with their community, meet their neighbours and peers and in turn contribute toward well-being and help to build cohesive and sustainable communities.
