About HAIL

Overview of the housing HAIL provides

HAIL currently has 185 dwelling units throughout the greater Dublin area. Some are within purpose built mixed housing developments and others are properties in the inner city that have been renovated and refurbished to offer permanent tenancies, housing management and personal supports necessary to maintain them.

Housing is one of the most critical economic and social policy issues facing our society at present. The ever-widening increase in income inequalities and resources is nowhere more evident today than in housing. One of the results is that home ownership is now beyond the reach of most people on average incomes. For those who are already socially excluded social housing is the only secure housing option. HAILs primary objective is to offer housing to those who would otherwise have little housing choice. HAIL believes every one has the right to a home of their own.
