Where HAIL gets its funding

HAIL uses a mix of private finance from Bank of Ireland, The Housing Finance Agency and Capital Grants and Loans from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government through the relevant local authority.

HAIL's Support Service is funded by way of grants from the Health Service Executive,  the Dublin Region Homeless Executive and the Genio Trust.

HAIL would like to thank the following for their contribution to the development of our housing and support service:

  • Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government
  • The Housing Finance Agency
  • Dublin City Council
  • Fingal County Council
  • South Dublin County Council
  • Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council
  • Kildare County Council
  • Health Service Executive
  • The Dublin Region Homeless Executive

HAIL needs recognition, support and funding to allow us to continue to provide an appropriate and specialist housing service for those with special needs. HAIL obtains funds by government grants, private donations and many fundraising activities. However, the demands are much greater than we can realistically meet. On local authority waiting lists are people unable to leave hospital or hostels because they have nowhere to go. These people matter. They can be helped. With support HAIL can give them a home of their own.
