HAIL’s Peer Support Service has been shortlisted for the upcoming ICSH Allianz Community Housing Awards 2021 which is due to take place later this month. The awards will showcase innovative and sustainable social housing projects which approved housing bodies and local authority partners deliver for communities across the country. HAIL’s Peer Support Programme was selected in the ‘Community Integration’ category following a shortlisting of entries. Projects shortlisted are also competing in the first ever Public Choice Award 2021, which gives members of the public an opportunity to support a participating project which they feel is most deserved of recognition. HAIL marks International Women’s Day with online event

Volunteers, tenants and HAIL staff members got together on March 8th with a special online event to celebrate International Women’s Day via Zoom. The day provided a welcome opportunity for members of HAIL’s Women’s Group to get together following a difficult 12 months of COVID-19 restrictions. The online gathering included a number of guest speakers, music, poetry and a quiz. Kim Gorey, a HAIL Peer Support Volunteer MC’d the event.
