Peer Support Celebration

In December we held an event at the Central Hotel on Exchequer Street to celebrate our Peer Support Volunteers and to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the year. 

Our Peer Support Volunteers are invaluable to our Support Services, working with peer clients and tenants to support them in their tenancy, maintain mental well-being and to integrate into their communities. 

The volunteers have also set up a number of very successful and sustainable social activities for our tenants and clients. These activities include the HAIL United Football Team, walking group and pool group, among many others. 

As part of the celebration, certificates of participation were awarded to all members of the HAIL United team, presented by the Football Association of Ireland. The walking group members were also recognised at the event with an acknowledgment of their involvement.
